Journalism Intern

Spring 2020 Internship

Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: Course Credit

Report to Base is seeking one intern to conduct interviews and write stories for our blog.

About the Position

This position would involve conducting interviews and doing some editing, then posting it to the Report To Base Blog.  You would be conducting interviews with active-duty, military spouses, veterans or charity organizations. 

You are required to work at least 10 hours per week, but the schedule is very flexible.

Requirements:

  • MUST be an undergraduate student studying english or journalism.
  • Available at least 10 hours per week
  • Experience with interviewing and social media a plus

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Strong research skills
  • Motivated self-starter able to work independently
  • Detail-oriented

Social Media Intern

About the Position

This position would involve creating posts using Canva or similar software and reaching out to other groups and organizations to increase the awareness of Report To Base. 

You are required to work at least 10 hours per week, but the schedule is very flexible.

  • MUST be an undergraduate student studying english, social media or journalism.
  • Available at least 10 hours per week
  • Experience with marketing and design a plus

Web Design/Research Intern

Spring 2020 Internship

Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: Course Credit

Report to Base is seeking 4 interns to assist in the expansion of our website.

About the Position

Interns will work in the web design department researching and adding content to the website. The position requires you to work independently, gather information from the web, write concise paragraphs using that information, insert it into our website in the format that we have established, and create links to the outside sources. You are required to work at least 10 hours per week, but the schedule is very flexible.

Requirements:

  • MUST be an undergraduate student studying web design, computer science, informatics, social media, digital content management, or related field
  • Basic understanding of web design principles
  • Available at least 10 hours per week
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor a plus, but not required

Regional Sales Position

Location: Fully Remote

Report to Base is seeking 2 Regional Sales People

About the Position

Regional Sales Members will be given a specific territory to reach out to Lenders and sell our membership plan to those who are qualified. 

Requirements:

  • MUST have outside sales experience
  • Have experience researching prospects and making cold calls
  • Knowledge of social media posting
  • Experience with a CRM
  • Available at least 25 hours per week
