On Base Housing
On-base housing is available at Joint Base San Antonio.
In some cases, where you live and work at Joint Base San Antonio may not be at the same installation. For example, if an unaccompanied Service Member is assigned to live at JBSA-Lackland, but works at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, he/she may voluntarily choose to live at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston if there is space available. If this applies to you, contact your unit commander or the appropriate housing office for more information.

Lackland Air Force Base Housing has a waiting list and is privatized and managed by Balfour Beatty. Go to your base housing office to have your name added to the waiting list, which is dependent on rank, number of children, and type of housing.
JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Housing Office: (210) 221-0881/DSN 471
Fort Sam Houston housing is privatized and managed by Lincoln Military Housing. There are eight housing areas with 2-5 bedroom homes. Available for all ranks. Call 210-270-7638.

JBSA-Randolph Housing Office (210) 652-1840/DSN 487
Randolph AFB military family housing is privatized. Hunt is responsible for maintaining, repairing, constructing and managing the community. For more information go to the Randolph Family Housing website or call 210-659-9061. The Housing Management Office (HMO) is the first building on the left as you enter JBSA-Randolph via the main gate at building 144. Counselors offer referral services to on-base privatized housing and assist with locating housing accommodations in the local community.
